Welcome to South Cheshire Beekeepers

The South branch of the Cheshire Beekeepers Association (SCBKA) is one of the five branches that form the Cheshire Beekeepers Association. We hope to provide you with useful information and regular updates on the local activities to help you make the most of your beekeeping.

Whether you are looking for a course, guidance on the local bee and honey related events or support with a bee challenge, we will try to help where we can.

In these particular times, the SCBKA team would still like to help where they can so if you have any urgent question about your beekeeping, please use our Contact page, our Forum page or email Sheila and she will look for the best advise for you.

Branch meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at the Bradwall village hall (near Sandbach). They feature a presentation from recognized beekeepers in the area or even the UK, a nice atmosphere to exchange and network and 1:1 advice on specific questions. During the summer months meetings are held outdoors, when weather permits, at the apiary which is situated nearby. This is the best opportunity to review the basics or practice some handling methods and get the feedback straight away.
