Our physical beekeeping meetings are back! Members will be able to view the new apiary and take part in some beekeeping demonstrations as well as having the usual opportunity to ask questions and hear about developments at the Branch. The South Cheshire branch Winter meetings are now held in Smallwood Village Hall (CW11 2UR) from 19.30. The South Cheshire branch Apiary meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month. We have now moved to a new apiary and summer meeting location in Reaseheath College from 18.30. Don’t worry if you can’t quite make this time – you will still be able to join in! To locate the Reaseheath meeting room, you need to turn off the A51 Nantwich – Chester road ( right if coming from Nantwich, left if coming from Chester) at a sign which says Wettenhall, Poole, Chomondeston). This is Wettenhall Road. Entrance 5 of Reaseheath College is on the right after turning at that junction, on the first bend. Enter through the barrier and bear left into the larger car park. The meeting room, FIC5, is a short walk straight on from the car park, on the left, adjacent to the dairy. It is part of the John Platt Centre. Please sign in here and you will be directed to the apiary which is 5 minutes walk from there.
